Die Ketel Coffee Shop was a great find. Neat, well managed and offering exactly what we needed, we sat down to breakfast. Yes, we enjoyed a ‘lekker boere’ breakfast, well priced.
Also on offer are local delicacies of preserves, cakes, biscuits, and so on. The place is peaceful and have a relaxing garden at the back where you can sit out under the shade and enjoy your peace and quiet whilst enjoying your meal.
The waiter and cashier engaged easily in conversation with us, made us feel welcome and part of the family. They shared information about this little town, its people and what there is to do there. Soon we were laughing and sharing as if we were old friends.
